The mission
of the St. Mary's-Colgan Library Media Center is to provide current,
adequate, and appropriate information resources and to prepare
students for the future so that they are able to acquire, evaluate,
and use information in a skillful way.
The library is open Monday - Friday, from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., under the direction of Bev Mitchelson.
The SMC collection features over 7,000 books and AV materials, 32 periodicals, and 3 daily and 3 weekly newspapers.
The library also houses 14 computers: 14 PCs . ALL of the computers are connected to the Follett circulation system and all are connected to the Internet.
Books circulate for 3 weeks and reference books for 1 hour. Overdues are 10 cents per school day.
