St. Mary's-Colgan High School is a parish-supported high school with the mission:

1. to build a faith community where students carry out Jesus' command to love one another;
2. to teach the Gospel values in every dimension of school life in order to illuminate and enrich each person's and knowledge of God, life and culture; and
3. to serve students that they may manifest leadership and grow in their service to God, Church, community, and family.

St. Mary's-Colgan High School began in 1936 and graduated its first senior class in 1940. Starting in the former third floor of the grade school, the existing high school building was opened in 1960. Various remodeling efforts have occurred over the years, with the most recent being the auditorium, various classrooms, and the new addition to accommodate science labs, library and the junior high classrooms. More of the history of the high school can be found in the parish history section of the web site.

Our schools prosper because of the support from the parish, its people, and its various boosters (SMC Booster Club, SMC Fine Arts Committee, and other friends and donors). Without them, the academic, athletic, and other extracurricular activities of the school would not be possible.

These web pages summarize some of the programs and activities of our school. But if you'd like more information, please contact us at any of the above locations.
